  1. I would also recommend Invisible Girl by Mary Hanlon Stone. After letting the eighth grader that I mentor borrow my copy–we both had a lot to talk about! Invisible Girl is Stone’s first novel but a very well crafted story–definitely a “can’t put it down” kind of book!
